SOUTH G9 IMU GNSS (Triple frequency)

This is the latest triple frequency GNSS receiver from SOUTH with the following standout features:

  • Suitable as a base, rover or static. Suitable as an NTRIP base station for drone

  • Network cellular mobile SIM module built in for dialing free LINZ base stations

A triple frequency receives all satellite constellations which means +40 satellites in New Zealand. Better accuracy and performance around trees and buildings is a benefit.

Built in IMU tilt sensor which is calibration free allowing to measure with the pole tilted to measure manhole inverts, corners of buildings etc for improved productivity. No magnetic interference.

This unit has a built in network cellular mobile SIM module to dial into the free RTK base station correction service provided by Land Information New Zealand (LINZ). A local base station setup is not required when using this service.

The internal UHF radio supports Trimtalk or Satel protocol so can be operated with other manufacturers GNSS GPS that support such a protocol

The recommended field software is SurvX android software. The GNSS survey report from SurvX complies with the new 2022 Cadastral Survey regulations further details on Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) website

SOUTH GNSS has a New Zealand 12 month warranty. Extended 2 year warranty available for additional fee.
